I honestly don't get why so many people are against the idea of transhumanism in general. It CAN be used for good. It's just that the elites want to use it to play God, but it doesn't mean that it can't be useful and beneficial.
@xianc78 It can be used for good, and ideally it should be, but in practice it almost definitely won't be used for anything good unfortunately. I'm very pro transhumanism in theory, I just don't think it's a good idea to rush into it while the elites are the ones holding the keys.
@Alex @xianc78 Put it this way, the only way I'm trusting any electronics being shoved in my head(or my brain/mind being shoved into them) is if they go above and beyond stallman-tier standards. Probably blessed and exorcised by priest for good measure too tbh.
Being able to change your appearance as easily as swapping skins in a video game has a certain appeal, but putting aside the obvious spiritual/metaphysical issues- you better be sure you won't have your brain reprogrammed to love big brother.
