@PhenomX6 @furgar If it wasn't for the American Prohibition, ethanol based vehicles would probably become the standard and most people who can would probably be brewing their own fuel.
The Rockefeller's actually sided with the prohibitionists just to prevent ethanol based cars from taking off.

They pushed e85 again during the late bush and Obama years and built cars with hardened fuel systems for it. Brazil on the other hand was the ideal country before everyone was glowopped into drinking the EV Kool aid because you can get pure ethanol cars there.
