@xianc78 I'm still salty that every Cave port on PC (except City Connnection Deathsmiles I*II) has elementary programming errors which cause replays to desync >95% of the time
@xianc78 Yeah and like, replay recording in shmups outside of attract modes goes back at least as early as Cho Ren Sha 68K and the port of Raiden DX on the original PlayStation. You think they would manage to get it right given the intervening 20-30 years or so.
@xianc78 Yeah. Btw if you're wondering about the Cave replay desyncs, it's because the game forgets to initialize memory at several points and that confuses the replay system.
