byuu didn't kill himself. Everyone says that he did, this is completely incorrect.
The first thing that should have set off all the warning bells was that there was an immediate call to action ("We have to DDoS kiwifarms.cc!") and everyone that said "Let's wait until there's official confirmation" was immediately declared an enemy. I said "Wow, that sucks" and people hopped on and demanded I condemn KF, I said I didn't want to do anything stupid before there was confirmation of what exactly happened, I got shit for this. The entire thing stank from the outset, and Eris was right there, doing her part to spread the lies in a failed attempt to get KF off the internet. Anything she has to say to the effect of "Oh, I'm being dogpiled and harassed!" is about the "I'm" part, not that she thinks dogpiling and harassment are bad. It's not got a thing to do with trans issues, she just uses that as a shield.

It is worth noting that despite saying "I'll send you scans of my passport!", not only is there no passport scan, there's not even the name of someone that can be confirmed dead, a year later. Nothing in any newspaper, nothing in the reports of US citizens that died overseas, no gravestone, nothing anywhere, no verifiable confirmation of anything, and it's been more than a year.
KF sucks so it's easy to get a lynch mob after them: people don't question anything bad you say about KF, and they don't care if you do something bad to KF. KF's an "acceptable target". No principles, just ingroup/outgroup. Half the people on KF are playing that same game, so I don't have a lot of sympathy, but I would like to at the very least stop the "byuu blood libel" from propagating because if people don't learn to smell a scam, this will happen again, and maybe it won't be KF, maybe it'll be you or me.

There is: David Kirk Ginder. It was dug up in the same KF thread he blamed his "suicide" on. The point still stands, though, as he himself haven't revealed anything personally other than first name.

Yeah, I'm aware. I don't know how close that was to definitely confirmed; as I recall, it was like "This guy is from the same place and looks similar", but that's not relevant. *If* byuu killed himself, there should be a name, an obituary, a grave, a newspaper report, anything that can be independently verified, and we do not have any of that.
