@ryo i think u know what im gonna say... if u can just remove the Humanist concept of "natural law" and replace it with something more concrete, then u got urself a pretty solid theoretical framework. just my lil critique, as a friend.

@cee "Humanity" as in "what it means to be a human", and maybe if you're an animal, you can change "human" to whatever animal you are.
Never heard of "humanist" before though.

but dont be afraid to ask questions, i wanna help people understand things better.

classical anarchist/libertarian theory has become, well, out-dated. soo much has changed since Spooner and Kropotkin. We'll need to rethink: the power dynamics of the state, revolution, what the nature of reality is, how do we know what we know etc.

the classicals believed that parliament/congress, courts, prisons, police, military and the church were all part of state apparatus. but now the power has become much dispersed- into "rhizomes" even. The media, schools, hospitals and even industrial unionism has been absorbed into the state.

protests and rallies on the city streets have become too predictable and thus easily co-opted.

any attempt at essentialising humanity or nature is confining. we all have potential to do good or harm, we all have our light and shadow.

also the nature of reality isnt rlly black and white, there are shades of grey

oh, u must be rlly new. Spooner heavily influenced AnCaps, like Rothbard, especially with his essay on taxes. Whereas Kropotkin mainly influenced the AnComs. i've read essays from both sides.

@cee @xianc78 @helby I'm actually not new to the movement, I don't really care as much about who started what, and other (attempts to attach) labels.
I view myself more as someone going his own way basically.

There are elements I agree on with both AnCaps and AnComs, but I just happen to have more common ground with AnCaps than AnComs.
I wrote about that on my blog before.

To put it simple, most of my ethics are based around treat others like they treat you.
For example, if everyone around me is wearing a mask, I don't, and they respect that I don't, then I'll respect them that they do.
But if they start growing a small mustage, get an emo haircut, raise their hand, and yell like a German over it, then I too will be a total asshole towards them.

As for aesthetics, I like anime-style drawings most, preferably if it includes "nudity".

And for metaphysics, I actually didn't even think of it yet, but you might be able to find out based on the other 2.

@ryo it will take time to conceptualise it- i know most ancaps tend to be moral consequentialists or deontological, but who knows, may not be 100% the case.

i, myself, am still figuring myself out. But so far my:
Metaphysics- Non-dualism (blend of Post-Kantian and Indian Idealism with Pluralism).
Trope Nominalism.
Not quite sure the name, but i do believe we have a bit of free-will, but most things are beyond our control. There is a cause-and-effect but also an element of spontaneity.

Ethics- Emersonian Moral Perfectionist

Aesthetics- psychedelia, punk/grunge, romantic goth, venetian carnival and weeaboo as well hehe
