@xianc78 @galena he probably would but only for white people, the original VW was essentially a German version of those mass produced socialist cars and the idea was it was a car made by a state enterprise for the masses.

Then the war happened and after the war a few businessmen realized they could sell a cheapass car to the world after they found the factory. And then decades later VW over time became postwar capitalist excess.
