@ArdainianRight @Cayhr @Ace66062 @DigitalDevilShitPoster @deVoid @ehhh Singular they doesn’t just sound dumb to you, it’s bad English and makes communication less clear and more difficult, the opposite of the purpose of language. It’s anti-language.

@SerfnUSA @Ace66062 @ArdainianRight @deVoid @DigitalDevilShitPoster @ehhh @Cayhr Singular they is correct if you don't know what the gender of the person is (e.g. "A customer left their phone here"), but it doesn't change the fact that there are only two genders.

@xianc78 @Ace66062 @ArdainianRight @deVoid @DigitalDevilShitPoster @ehhh @Cayhr That’s never been true. You say “his or her” if you really want to be egalitarian, but most commonly people have said “he” if they don’t know the sex of an individual person, unless it’s likely to be a woman then you say “she” (e.g. “A customer [at a store most commonly frequented by women] left her phone here”).

“Gender” as used to apply to human psychology was invented less than a century ago by malicious actors to build up to the kind of bullshit we have with trannies today. Unless you are talking about declining verbs in Romance languages or other such uses, you shouldn’t use the word “gender” at all, even to say “there are only two genders” because you are validating their faggot social theories. There are only two sexes.

@DarkMahesvara @Ace66062 @ArdainianRight @deVoid @DigitalDevilShitPoster @ehhh @SerfnUSA @Cayhr I was taught that sex and gender meant the same thing and were biological up until the whole tranny craze after gay marriage was legalized nation-wide.

@xianc78 @DarkMahesvara @Ace66062 @ArdainianRight @deVoid @DigitalDevilShitPoster @ehhh @Cayhr Yes, that’s how they did it. Invent a term that means “how you think about your sex” but use it interchangeably with “what your sex is” for a few decades then pull out the rug and say “Aha! these things can be different! And, in fact, you inherently believe these things can be different, why else would you be using two different words? Gotcha.”

Controlling language, inventing and reshaping the meaning of words, is the most basic and powerful method of controlling the minds of the masses.
@SerfnUSA @xianc78 @DarkMahesvara @Ace66062 @ArdainianRight @deVoid @DigitalDevilShitPoster @ehhh @Cayhr Gender is a term that has existed for hundreds of years and just meant "sex" they just redefined it like everything else
@Arkana @Ace66062 @ArdainianRight @xianc78 @DigitalDevilShitPoster @deVoid @ehhh @Cayhr @DarkMahesvara I was under the impression that until hirschfeld and money and kensey and the like it was strictly used for describing objects as masculine or feminine, especially in a linguistic context for languages where all words are gendered, then they and their ilk popularized the use of it for humans and psychology. Is that wrong?
@Arkana @Ace66062 @ArdainianRight @xianc78 @DigitalDevilShitPoster @deVoid @ehhh @Cayhr @DarkMahesvara Ah, so the definition of it as a synonym for sex did already exist. I still stand by my story, it just took slightly fewer linguistic tricks to get from there to men in dresses leering at little girls in the ymca locker room.
@SerfnUSA @xianc78 @DarkMahesvara @Ace66062 @ArdainianRight @deVoid @DigitalDevilShitPoster @Cayhr i honestly think it should just be synonymous

there's a difference between "stupid" and "moronic" but neither of them can ever mean smart.
