They think they can either genetically or cybernetically engineer gender out of existence and "liberate" us from biological gender roles.

it's easy just to keep the body you have healthy and sustainable, we need to focus on that first before even thinking about how we'll evolve as a race. i think it's inevitable that we'll have to force our own evolution, but not how they're doing so.

We probably don't need to force it any more than this. Unless we find ourselves in an extreme environment. But I like that transhumanism disgusts you too.

well we're already talking about colonising space and shit, so far we've just stuck ourselves in artificial atmospheres and coping that way, but there's also considerations like life expectancy and other scientific progress that could radically change what we're capable of as a species
this year i've just gotten excited about having the potential to explore all possibilities in the world so i'm all for it but we need to be careful about approach
