Wikipedia's article on the hypothetical 2nd American Civil War is just mostly fearmongering about "right-wing extremism".

@xianc78 the CIA isn't going to post badly about itself :ablobcatgooglytenor:
@xianc78
>look at all these (4) right wingers trying to start civil war
>and yeah there's also been left-wing violence on a similar scale
>but none of the perpetrators tried to start a civil war
>you know except like...some of them
I can’t believe this is real, it’s literally just a political hit piece. At least they mentioned the “non-violent” George Floyd chimpouts.

@ItsSkyDragonz If it were to happen, I bet both sides would be controlled opposition.

@Vril_Oreilly @ItsSkyDragonz @xianc78 Remember kids, don't burn down your own capital, its the coasts we gotta march on this round.
@xianc78 at this point, wikipedia should just be nuked like the miraheze pol wiki...
This is pure speculation, abstractions, a cemetery plagued with ghosts.
I knew something was off about wikipedia, but didnt know it was this awful lol.

@cee They are only marginally better that RationWiki at this point and RationWiki is the worst.

@cee @xianc78 Wikipedia has a lot of bad stuff but it's also one of the most reliable sources in general. Nuking it would be a terrible loss
@Yujiri i mean *sigh* there are genuine and decent counter-arguments to what i've stated.
I still question wikipedia's structure and "peer review", i have seen quite a bit of inaccuracies in recent times, but after seeing this article, i'm much more skeptical of the site. i feel encyclopedias would be better. just my 2 cents.
