@PhenomX6 @ArdainianRight @GD5426 @Eschatology @Marakus @RupertvonRipp Is keeping children away from the Internet really the best option? I think most of us here had the Internet at least in some proportion of our childhoods and weren't exposed to the shit. I know things have changed but I was exposed to a lot of shit at an early age and I don't feel like I was fucked up in any way.
I didn't know what transgender was until around the age of 12. I was visiting my brothers college campus and one of the bulletin boards had some paper about some LGBT resource center. I knew was lesbian, gay, and bisexual were (I think it's save to know what those things are by middle school), but I never heard of a transgender. I asked some kids at school but they showed me was what a "shemale" was.
My point here is that there will always be that one kid who already knows what this stuff is and will spread this knowledge to other kids at school or at the playground. I mean, we all knew what sex was even before sex ed thanks to kids who were already exposed to the concept by some way.
The untested child is chum in the water for the sharks upon entering adulthood.
