Thus ends a year and a half of getting nothing out of it but unanswered messages and a handful of first dates that went absolutely nowhere.
I very frequently would just swipe for hours doing little else but compare my own stake in life unfavorably to the image other people would custom craft to make themselves look as good as possible to prospective partners.
Unhealthy waste of my damn time.

@Indigo FreedomCells has a dating feature now. The site is mainly used for agorists and other grassroots activists to organize. Don't be fooled by the sign up page, you can use a fake name if you want and your are encouraged not to use your address but a location to meet up. The site is run by Derrick Broze who also hosts The Conscious Resistance. @cee uses it.

@xianc78 Eh, dating based on political beliefs isn't my style. I think something as intimate as dating should start with the individual person and how you relate to them on an emotional level, how much chemistry you have, common interests, etc.
It can be done, but politics seem like a shaky foundation to build a relationship off of.
I'm kinda done with online/app based dating in general for now, I'd like to try and meet someone organically if possible.

Also I'm identifying as Bi now, it's a relatively recent development. I considered myself gay for most of my adult dating life though, and almost the entire time I've been on Fedi so it's been... strange.
