Bro why is coinbase delaying my BTC send for "security reason" and asking me to verify my ID after I already uploaded my god damn ID. They really want me keeping my coin on their shitty service. Like fuck off Jesus Christ they're going to make crypto impossible to adapt with all their sitty fucking regulations. I guess that's the governments goal. They're so fucking scared of crypto. ITS MY GOD DAMN MONEY LET ME DO WHAT I WANT WITH IT!

@TylerAbeoJordan @top @xianc78 I looked at Bisq so many times, and never implemented, open to hearing from anyone who has, still curious (aren't buy/sell offer gaps huge?)

Certainly not the best trades on there - but this is more an issue of liquidity IMO - not many people using it. Of course that won't improve if people don't start using it - kinda a self-fullfilling prophecy.

I think you can consider that - at least for now - you are paying a premium for a private service.

@TylerAbeoJordan @xianc78 I've seen things like this and I'm not really sure how they work. Its like Craigslist for cryoto or something? Someone posts they have x amount of crypto selling for y fiat?

@top @xianc78

There is an order book for each pair. So you can see what's going on. And post your trade offer.

It's all peer to peer and runs through Tor, so extremely private.

Coins are held in multisig wallet - I don't know the technical details here, so you'd have to dig that out yourself. But basically no third party holds the coin during the trade.
