Social media would be so much better if there was no video or images. Text ony social media would likely be a lot better for society.

@realcaseyrollins Nostr has images. I don't use Reddit, so I don't know what goes on there.

@realcaseyrollins Media might be delivered through a separate protocol such as WebTorrent. Maybe @alex knows.
I was going to say that .. Twitter didn't even have images, so someone made Twitpic .. then they refused to tell Twitpic to Twitter, then they got sued by Twitter and became a read only archive as part of the settlement.
@djsumdog @realcaseyrollins A lot of forums require you to upload images externally and hot link them through BBCode.
If #nostr and #Reddit comments section have taught us anything, users will just use links instead of inline images
