@realcaseyrollins Moral of the story: don't have smart home tech if you are famous.

Granted you shouldn't have that shit in your home at all.

@xianc78 @realcaseyrollins I do think that his behavior was worse than having the tech in his house though

@realcaseyrollins@social.teci.world @realcaseyrollins@social.freetalklive.com Of course, I 100% condemn Crowder's behavior here, but my point is that you need to be extra careful about keeping your personal life private if you are famous because being famous means that details of your personal life are much more likely to get leaked.

And it doesn't necessarily have to be incidents like this. It could be anything like what kind of porn you like to watch (assuming you watch porn), some "insensitive" jokes you made in front of your friends, where you actually live, etc. As what tabloid magazines and later, the Internet has proven, people LOVE celebrity drama and gossip. You need to be extra careful about having shit like this being leaked.

Hell, I even remember Crowder doing a video testing out Alexa responses and how "PC" they are and he said in the video that they are spyware and you shouldn't have them in your home. I don't know why he suddenly decided that having a Ring camera was a good idea.
