@xianc78 @Tadano @bleedingphoenix There's a base game that's more akin to alpha vesrions, but something like MineClone 2 brings it up to feature parity.
@mint @bleedingphoenix @Tadano @xianc78 But minetest is best when you stop trying to play minecraft, imo. nodecore is really interesting, I'm going to see about having that run on my server, when I get around to setting it up.
@xianc78 @mint @Tadano sort of, you can play it vanilla with features but it shines when coupled with a more developed mod, which is what the main appeal of the game is. NodeCore and MineClone build upon the game engine to include new features, and a huge advantage of the mods is that you don't have to download the mods to join a modded server iirc.
