Can you actually be a functioning member of society without using proprietary software, while not working with IT?

@niuulianov I was training for one company and I had to bite the bullet and buy a Windows laptop.
I also ended up having to use Gmail for apply for jobs and work. I was using cock.li (using one of their SFW domains). None of the employeers batted a single eye. It was my Dad who caught wind of it and forced me to use Gmail.
