My libertarian views are from me being a paranoid conspiracy theorist. I'm not really a fan of weed, hippie shit, and stuff like that. And no, my mixed ancestry has nothing to do with it. It's just me realizing that ALL politicians are puppets.
Politics really falls into a trichotomy, not a dichotomy. Here are the three most noteworthy political ideological families (almost all people hold political views that fall into one of these categories):
Nationalism: It’s my people vs your people. My people own XYZ territories, or should own them (irredentism), etc.
Liberalism: Leave me alone. Fuck the DMV and the IRS, banks need to get the fuck out a nigga face while he tryna make a living
Socialism: All for one and one for all. I hate white people. Blacks deserve infinity gibs. Learn my pronouns.
These are, naturally, oversimplifications, but I want to keep this post somewhat short. Globalism vs nationalism is not a “false dichotomy,” but one of the more common axes to measure things, and it makes perfect sense if it’s a topic you care about. Liberty vs tyranny being another really common one people care about.
