@djsumdog @RustyCrab @zero I never used Windows ME. Windows Vista was a miserable experience for me, but I also ran it on a very slow netbook. Windows 8 was when they started to require a MSN/Hotmail/Outlook.com account and I ended up using Linux full-time sense then.
Though, I say that Windows 10 and 11 are worse than all four of those because that's when they truly started marketing Windows as a service instead of a product.
@djsumdog @RustyCrab @zero I don't have an HDR monitor nor am I picky when it comes to them so that's not a problem with me. Though I want to stop buying Windows hardware just to install Linux on because of that "Microsoft Tax" and Microsoft slowly making it impossible to install Linux and other alternative OSes on their computers.
I only use Windows 10 for games and I haven't tried Windows 11 yet and probably won't until 10 hits EOL. I also have a Win 10 media PC and wish I could run Linux on it instead, but there's still no Linux HDR support (except with a Raspberry Pi 4 + LibreELEC + Kodi and literally nothing else).
