@Soy_Magnus @PurpCat In all seriousness, I wonder what would happen if you host an instance with a domain of a defunct instance. Would things break on other instances?

yeah a while back as an experiment I turned a Sun Ultra 45 into a Pleroma instance and maxed out the CPU for a month or so.
I also recently have been trying to use illumos as a Pleroma server but it's gone badly and I might reinstall the OS to clear out the packages and try again since I need to custom build erlang and whatnot.
