Someone told me to check out this shitty video from Apple on their net-zero plan.
>3:42
>Our aim is to permanently remove carbon from the atmosphere
So you want to end all life on Earth? Seriously, this video just shows how much of a fucking scam net-zero is. You can never achieve net-zero. CO2 is just a natural by-product, even in biological processes.
And of course, they had to bring up the "by 2030" deadline.
@LodedDiaper >Essentiality they wanted kill mosquitos, flies, sparrows, and rodents to reduce disease and protect crops. They actually managed to kill all the sparrows in the area and the locust population grew and started a famine. In both of these cases started with apparent environmental reasons, and failed to due ignorance.
If people really want to grow food sustainably, they should really look into permaculture, where you grow food by actually mimicking biological processes in nature. People can even do it in their backyard. Some people have even managed to do it in urban areas.
>This whole video comes across as masturbatory.
I mean there are some parts that sound good (assuming they are actually doing them) like reducing plastic, but the whole carbon neutral thing is bullshit and completely impossible to do.
