jobs is probably one of the few billionaires who everyone is like "he's an asshole!" but if you look at his record all he did was have cool shit built lmao

@realcaseyrollins the odd part is we all knew jobs didn't actually make this stuff. he never claimed to have done it. it's pretty much an open thing that he just concepted it and handed it to people who were really good at making it happen. even to the really uncharacteristic for a controller thing where the people he trusted to build the cool shit *didn't even have to like him* and it was fine as long as people were reasonable about it and did the work.

cook did the usual corposhit thing of firing everyone to ensure a board of yes-men.

jobs had his flaws but he never pretended to be more than the CEO and people who outright said the guy sucked were still in key positions

then you get people like elon who are just overt egomaniacs larping as aspies.
