how are old retired motos for ham radio? I've seen them used a lot and knowing computer gear I trust enterprise level shit.
@Pawlicker HAM radio requires a license. You should consider starting off with CB Radio.
I have a neighbor who used to be into HAM radio. He has a huge antennae in his yard.
@BigDawg869789 @Pawlicker Are you talking about illegal radio stations? People used to build floating radio stations out on the ocean before the Internet, but you might as well use regular AM or FM for that.

CB is basically totally shit up, there's a certain guy nicknamed "Windowlicker" who shits it up. There's a video of people who run the superbowl channel going to his channel he shits up (which is the trucker channel) to utterly fuck with him.
