It's awfully funny how even shit like Call of Duty can fall to the same cancer killing the gaming community worldwide, from zoomers who can't decide between acting as paranoid as a crackhead or as reckless as a Nissan driver, to gamers embracing the Tumblrisms as they get older.

Multiplayer gaming is truly dead, outside of someone hosting a game night and then going back to playing the same old same old slop or VRChat gooning.
Getting rid of local-first servers was a mistake. You should be able to play modern games at a damn lan party without connecting to the Interwebs.

@djsumdog @PurpCat As a gamedev you only need to include LAN multiplayer as anyone can play LAN games online through VPN/tunneling software, thus making the game support both.
