@djsumdog I used to have one but the lightbulb wasn't strong enough to melt the wax and I don't think it was replaceable.

@xianc78 @djsumdog I wonder if there's a more efficient way to do this without needing as much energy.
You would need a liquid that would be able to do the same thing, but at the temperature of a high powered LED .... and not be toxic to clean up if it breaks.
I have a feeling it wouldn't look quite as blobby.

Tried to make one once, using a recipe that called for isopropyl alcohol and paraffin. Almost Darwin Awarded myself on that one... 😅

Buy an "official" one soon before some busy body bug-man decides if you drink a couple dozen, you'll have a 1% greater cancer risk in 40 years!

You can buy replacement bulbs, but they're getting hard to find, as they have to be at least a certain threshold of incandescent and you know how the bug-men feel about those. 🤨
