I think the most damning revelation is that the myth that you're either beautiful OR smart, is invalid.
"At least I'm smart" is the last defense of the ugly and deformed.
The realization that deformation on the outside correlates with deformation on the inside, and these people actually are challenged, and that you can judge a book by its cover. This is just devastating.

@xianc78 @cjd I wonder if there are any studies about correlation between beauty and IQ, but yeah this is obviously true
people who are beautiful don't have to try as hard as success comes via their looks so even though they might be naturally intelligent they don't have to use it to its full extent by pursuing intellectual erm ...pursuits... because partying, socialising and playing sports is more fun. Humans are addicted to comfort.
