So it looks like the woke FOSS crowd has taken notice of OpenMandriva and is boycotting a FOSDEM event that the OpenMandriva co-founder is holding. I'm not familiar with FOSDEM so I don't know if they could get them kicked out of the convention entirely, but I expect these parasites to try to kick them out of as many FOSS spaces as possible.

@PurpCat Oh that. I think this is different because this is an actual "professional" project run by a non-profit organization with a president going by his real name.

@xianc78 On one hand nobody was even giving two shits and a fuck about OpenMandriva before this. Just look at the SourceForge metrics. Most people running Linux are going to run the same 4 distros everyone else runs.

On the other hand, I love seeing the LGBT community and how much they have a persecution complex when they are not catered to at every whim. But these are the people who will kill themselves when they don't get their way, so...

It got so bad that people were posting antisemitic slurs in his comments so he disabled comments on all of his videos. I think that's when Luke Smith got popular because he was basically the polar opposite of Lunduke in a lot of ways.

He seemed to make a comeback in recent years because he has been exposing woke and pro-WEF agendas in the tech-industry (FOSS or otherwise), and Luke Smith has stopped making videos as of 2023.

It was never really a tech channel. It was more of a philosophy/life-advice channel with some Linux tutorials in them.
