@get I bought GTA 5 a few years back and played it for like an hour and thought it meh. Game felt like a huge downgrade from GTA 4 in terms of atmosphere. Atleast with GTA 4 the SP was the focus and the online was an after thought where in GTA 5 it was the other way around.

I have no doubt GTA 6 is gonna be a pile of shit especially with all the DEI crap that's allegedly being hamfisted into it.

In all honesty I thought the PS2 era Grand Theft Auto games did a great jame of pioneering and innovating the Sandbox genre for it's time.

The next generation GTA games weren't as good as the PS2 era games and GTA5 is the only one I never actually finished because I got bored with it early on. There are more fun sandbox style games out there and people just play GTA because of the name and legacy and that's about it.

I know a lot of people who liked the online for the RP servers and games but the online in that game is trash due to the amount of cheaters but that's almost any online PvP game in 2025.
