Entertainingly an FBI agent named Phil Christiana has been attacking free staters for decades and I just happen to be a tad bit connected to some of his victims (people who've moved for the free state project which is migration of folks advocating for greater freedom, and peaceful rather than violent state solutions) for about two decades now (he's attempted to coerce through arrests free staters to wear wires, on multiple occasions, for instance he tried to get Rich Paul to wear a wire into an activist center, phil was also involved in 3 'investigations' targeting one guy named Ian Freeman alone who has a majorly syndicated radio show called free talk live... but these have not been his only attacks on free staters, just some a few of the better known ones):
