Ill do literally anything to stop writing c++, but the project I work on uses it and all the developers are familiar.. its an ugly language!! I am often fighting the language more than my own logic when working with this shit language. Bjarne must die.
The amount of memory leaks and crashes i have to deal with on a daily compared to any C code is just insane. The sheer complexity of c++ just makes it so fucking unsafe and full of issues in practice.
@xianc78 i do in fact like the new operator in c++, however we never use it since i mostly use smart pointers anyway
