Some people plug their ears and go "nah nah nah" and keep believing a story they literally know nothing about except what the TV told them about it. They immediately demonize anyone who contractions their ideological head-cannon. They cannot even entertain the idea they can be wrong, to the point of reporting me their mods and ignorant of the fact I'd get the message too.

Ironically, these are the people who would probably condemn witch burning and "Nazis" when in fact, they'd be the first to say witches should be burned and the last to speak up in 1940s Germany.

@djsumdog I love it when these people report you, not realizing that this is your own instance.

@djsumdog And it turns out that this person has a bounty put on you.

And of course they label Miles Mathis as a flat-earther despite him saying multiple times that he thinks flat-earth is a psyop.

Jebus, look at that Internet warrior go, typing all that slander.

You know I never even said the shooting was fake, just that I'm skeptical of news reports in general.

Just look at that create rally with screeching screams at this person they knew nothing about until 5 minutes ago.

I guess It Do Be Like That Mr. Stancil

@djsumdog This person talks non-stop about "femicide", the belief that woman are purposefully being hunted and killed just for being women. Maybe, that's the case in some third-world shitholes, but she is making it look like that woman have to be constantly on guard. It's literally the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.

I think this gets into the "victim as virtue" idea. I remember Helen Dale (Australian lawyer/author) talking about how Roman society didn't have a concept for virtue in victimization. Works like the Book of Job didn't really resonate in Roman society. Dales makes the argument Romans didn't believe in refinement through trial, although I question that stance since they did have The Odyssey and other popular works/theater that fit the standard heroes journey.

If Christianity was the moving force that pushed the idea of virtuous persecutions (e.g. "Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven."), it would make sense that people would eventually seek out persecution as a means of increasing their virtue.

So, fake or time travel. I'm hoping for the latter.

@Zergling_man @djsumdog Colleges have been pushing feminism for decades. It wouldn't surprise me if even back then there were a few men who couldn't get a girlfriend because all the women they talked to swallowed the propaganda.

@xianc78 @djsumdog Yeah obviously but I don't believe they'd go off and shoot up a campus for it.
@xianc78 @djsumdog this is like last night when some friends hosted a game night and some discord users came in and tried to argue with them
They left when they realized that they had no power there
I dunno ... I'm kinda curious if Vivaldi bans me. I don't have an account on there to check.

It's kinda funny since this "person" probably can't get me on any more block lists than I'm already on.
