I wonder what his opinions are in regards to a demurrage currency. It's basically a currency that is designed to lose value over time, though it's not the same thing as inflation it's more like a coupon with an expiration date.

I think there are even demurrage crypto-currencies out there as well.

Demurrage currencies are always really popular with people who have no money. Everyone else is like "uhh why would I want that?"

@cjd @xianc78 i think the point isn't "fixed supply vs. limited supply" but "work required to make money". which is zero today if you are in the right position.

gold while it's fixed supply, will take a while to be fully extracted. the work required will increase. if you have a crypto currency that goes to "infinite amount of work required" it's similar.
