Quarterfinals, Match 2: SMetzeler vs. Jeff Cliff #FaggotTourney
Where to even begin here.... MINDS in the quarterfinals?! That's right! Mind's top guy and relative newcomer SMetzeler takes on SPW's perennial favorite and tournament regular, Jeff Cliff! This match promises to be very entertaining.
Let's start with SMetzeler. The dark horse candidate of the tournament, he comes fresh off a win over PDP/Armstrong in a stunning upset. He did get a decent amount of initial votes for being a (((merchant))) and "libertarian", but no one expected Minds to show up on their feed, much less for the tournament. On a personal note, I just don't like his PFP and that's a high crime by itself.
And then there was Jeff Cliff. Jeff finds himself in the quarterfinals surged on by his "fans" all across Fedi. No matter what language you speak, no matter where you live, you're gonna be a SUPER SPREADER of cheek...COVID. That's right, the only thing more persistent than COVID after 15 vaccines is Jeff talking about it and getting his way into the tournament because of it. Jeff is one of the few contestants to be interviewed on The Fedi Files, and a comment on his episode said it best: "he seemed like a normal guy when you weren't talking about COVID".
Will Minds be able to #stopthespread of Dark Jeff, or will he be taking SMetzeler out back for 2 weeks to flatten his tournament curve? Will (((they))) show up to support their goy? Can Minds even see half the voters in the thread? We'll find out!
