there’s no way in hell I could implement a decorator of any kind in an interview; I barely remember how they work

I think decorators are retarded, you see, so I only use them if they’re part of someone else’s library

python has so much built in shit there’s no way any individual developer who doesn’t just spend all his time learning python trivia is going to know more than a small fraction of the language features, and when you try to quiz them in that way, you’re just checking if the trivia they know matches the trivia you know
