It's a shame, I think the pedo community and the fringes within the trans community are gonna be the downfall of LGBT progress
Which while I don't agree with some of the moves of "progress", I can't deny that the LGBT movement did indeed move us in the right direction
My fear is that these extreme communities will cause people to reject the LGBT movement wholesale, and bring us back to the days where most people hate LGBT people and it's acceptable

I fail to see why it would be the downfall of queer communities tho. Pedos arent welcome in those spaces at all.
Also define "fringe" in trans. Cause as far as I know its just ppl rejecting traditions and gender norms so ofc its bound to make normies uncomfortable. Here we legally refer gender as "social sex" which pretty sums it up for everybody and may simplify its understanding.

@adidal as far as the fringes if the trans community goes, I'm thinking on those who are arguing for trans women to be allowed in female-only spaces
