there is a 50% chance that if i lose another 50 or so pounds it will go away though and i can eat potato again (albeit in more reasonable quantity than before.)

well my diet consists of "eat tuna fish and mayonaise" although lately i have been taking these weight loss pills which consists of grapefruit extract or something.
@icedquinn @xyfdi @shebang if I can prod, try to cut down on the mayonaise in your tuna (more fat is for when you aren't), and try to switch to organ meats to get your ~1000 calorie/day diet, so you don't get mercury accumulation, purine issues, and gout risk to replace your now-low insulin resistance.

Pills to lose weight are never ever ever ever a good idea. just sayin'.

I tried the Hoodia pills, they work in suppressing hunger, but the side-effects.. daaaamn!

This would be excellent for things like festivals or rave for a couple of days.

@xyfdi @anornymorse @shebang i have no idea what those are. that would be useful if such a thing worked without other problems.

i don't really suppress the hunger. i drink a lot of coffee with cream in it (yeah, 50-100kcal per mug.) the pills i have that i started taking recently are various citris fruit and cayenne pepper extracts which is why i was like meh we'll see how it goes.

there isn't really a way out of the whole starving feeling. you're literally starving on purpose :blobcatdunno: is also part of why radical weight loss is hard and the 'just lift bro' types don't really get it.
To be fair, after your third 7-day fast in a row, the whole "I'm hungry" thing matters little. You know how long you can last without food, and all the food addiction issues (especially MSG and HFCS and aspartame) disappear by that point if you're re-feeding on beef and organ meat.

+1 on the cayenne pepper. I put 2tsp per 4L of water I prepare/drink each day.
