@xyfdi@gameliberty.club If you had to choose between two evils, picking China might be the move actually. At least China is predictable unlike the Unites States.

@xyfdi@gameliberty.club But it would be much preferable to get into an a diplomatic space where you are self sufficient to point where you don't have to choose between either.

@SuperDicq Yes, it has finally gotten clear for everyone that the post-war neo-liberal rules-based-order consensus only works if there is a block that can enforce this. Soft whispering diplomacy works when you wield a big gun, Europe does not have that big gun.

I agree that Europe should be self-sufficient and I have been advocating for that for a long time now, same that we cannot trust our data with US companies thanks for amongst others the patriot act. It is a shame this ball started rolling only last year, and only because the "wrong" guy came into office. This has been an issue since 2002 onwards. I really cannot take these guys that need it suddenly now serious.
