Ukraine is using the exact same tactics as the Syrian opposition, i.e. placing military equipment between or right next to civilian structures, then allowing counter-battery fire to rain down on the location, and then saying it was an “indiscriminate attack”.

The cringe thing is that they have a conventional army, rather than a ragtag group of militia, so these tactics make them look worse...
