I'm pinning a torrent of map and youthlib resources for everyone who wants to study and get more involved with our struggles politically. It's curated with the specific intent of containing only legal documents, but be sure to comb through it just in case. Different countries have different standards:

@clarissa I don't really care too much about that. Honestly the community side is more interesting
There are a lot of good documentaries about deep web websites like rindexxx Alice in wonderland and the likes that got shut down in the past few years as well as the triforce Chan sites like 144chan.

There's also this one decent research paper on the psychology of dark websites as well as grey area sites like 8chan.net. In comparison to normal sites like Reddit niaraland and others.

@Bbccoom19 you should care about it. I'm sharing resources literally about the community, things that should be preserved to the best of our abilities

@clarissa I guess but I just don't view pedophillia as a huge or even big part of my personality and psyche.

Though in terms of culture online and the way it has morphed over the years is pretty interesting and I like to research that from time to time.

In general though I wouldn't feel too upset or worried, because of internet hogmenity we will probably see more pedophile ajecent stuff in media in the next 10 or so years. A lot of anime media is already like that but I think it will probably grow. Games like blue archive make billions of dollars. There will be more content and even probably some games and media that reference map stuff, websites etc. The future if entertainment imo is gonna be quite interesting.

I know I'm probably gonna be sexless for life so I'm not really worked up about pedo rights.

@Bbccoom19 sick, I'm not sharing resources for you, then. I'm sharing them with people who do care about the community and about our liberation. Maps aren't just oppressed with respect to whether or not we have sex. It sounds like you have internalized mapmisia to work through, tbf

@clarissa It is mainly just sexual imo. Pedophilia is already somewhat accepted in society. Sure you can't go over and state that you are one, but there is a lot of adjacent content out there, ie lolicon and vtubers to an extent out there and it is sorta normalised not totally but online pretty much yea.

And the president of the USA is a pedophile. Literally if the president of the mightiest nation on earth is a pedophile and no one gives enough of a fuck to press him then it is already sorta accepted.

I guess you can say that you want it to be normalised to a point where you can openly call yourself a pedophile without getting judged for it. Which is fair though tbh as it stands I think it is fine.

Also what does "mapmisia" mean?

@clarissa I was about to disagree but I ended up tweaking over Piper Rockelle stuff lmao. Can't believe she made 1 million dollars in a day.

Follow

@clarissa Some girl who thirst trapped/sold nudes when she was underage. She recently made a onlyfans after turning 18 and made over 1.2 million dollars in a day. My immediate reaction was disgust at the buyers.

You are right I do have mapmisia despite being a map myself.

@Bbccoom19 yeah, lots of men see young women as rape bait. That's not the same thing as mapness. That's just patriarchy. Most people who sexually abuse young people are not attracted to them. They just see it as easy. Certainly there are some of her fans who are maps, but that is a separate question

And yes, internalized mapmisia means you are a map who hates yourself for being a map when you shouldn't. And it's usually because you hold a lot of incorrect, socially ingrained narratives about maps. We're literally just as diverse as any other group
