@sxsdv1 Being at my lover's mercy. Being forced to sacrifice all control to him, for however long he feels is right. Days? Weeks? Who knows. It's so dehumanizing, like voluntarily becoming his property. It's such a power imbalance. Sometimes it takes a while, but it enforces a submissive mental state, where I need to prioritize his wants above my needs. It makes it feel natural.
Plus, it helps show how intimate and pleasurable other parts of the body can be. When you can't derive satisfaction from the organs built for the primary purpose of delivering sexual gratification, you start to realize just how sensitive you can be, just how intimate simple things like kissing, tickling, biting, etc the right spots can be. It's so deeply rewarding, for both partners.

I agree it's an excellent tool for getting deep into a sub mode, because it's constantly there reminding you of the power exchange.

But D/s aside, I kinda like the feeling of the cage too, straining against the bars and feeling the weight
