@sim I believe every system - including anarchism - has potential to be abused and corrupted, and that eventually someone will abuse it and corrupt it. Everything ends in tyranny if it lasts long enough. The main question is, how long does each system usually take to reach that point? Which systems are the most resilient to turning into a tyranny? And then, how much freedom is it okay to trade away for this resilience - at what point does the freedom you're trading away now outweigh the freedom you're potentially preserving by slowing down the slide into tyranny? These are very difficult questions to answer, and I'm sure the answers vary greatly from person to person.
In the end, everything ends with someone trying to oppress someone else and take away their freedom.
