I'm also curious about the psychological health of the workers at mega farms. There are too many stories about them turning to violence and being aggressive towards the animals they are supposed to be caring for. Also neglecting them. How does someone become like that? What sort of stress are they under? Are the working conditions causing them to suffer too?
@Galena Yeah, you'd have to really detach yourself in order to survive that. I imagine that you'd have to quickly learn that there isn't anything you can do... I can't imagine there is much support. Especially for a larger scale farm like these. I'm disgusted they even made it to the west.
