tldr: it's happened too many times for any single instance of someplace getting nuked or purged explicitly of loli/shota content to really bother me.
gelbooru banned lolis at one point too, but that didn't survive the criticism and backed up, and now they have ads for loli artists who do their sponsoring XD

People were already mad about Jade Chan and Penny going missing, but Venelope was the final fucking straw, because it was argued, she wasn't even a real god damn loli, she was an ageless computer program. @Spaghettimon Shit is MISSING though. Shit that either nobody saved or that the artist didn't want on a particular site or whatever. I know because there's stuff I have, that I have not seen in the wild for years. It's not low quality either, stuff just gets lost when people can't network openly.

@bitterblossom @Spaghettimon I remember a place called Cathouse Studios, and another place that I can't remember the name of now but they were like the original r34, it was a bunch of artists with their own galleries, you had to click a name to see their work. This was back when jpgs took a while to load. Sad to think of all that was lost or went unappreciated, I wonder what happened to the artists a lot.
