the problem with the anti-crypto people is they don't respond to the currency supply is weaponized and the banks are weaponized and when institutions are thoroughly turned in to political weapons the public loses faith in them and treats them like weapons. usually just see people celebrating BTC going down and its like well... what do you want us to use? USD that they intentionally are destroying the value of? Banks that take political prisoners?

"just make your own everything bro" doesn't even cut it because the hegemony can just pivot their banking ban on people outside the cartel like they have already been shown to do.

@samuraikid i don't tend to see them advocating gold. it's usually just like, "bitcoin bad."

okay, bitcoin bad. so what's the proposal to stop banks from being rogue political enforcers? :blobcatdunno:

@icedquinn @samuraikid I advocate gold and think bitcoin bad. Tech is a toy in my eyes, a tinker toy, a project, it's not ready yet, one solar flare and all our shit is wiped. That's a stupid way to run a civilization.

@Jazzy_Butts @icedquinn @samuraikid i think we could stand to have the banks wiped at least once, though.
