I saw a post on the timeline about "Puriteens" aka teenager antis which have massive numbers spread across social media and it made me think what if the youth rights advocacy of pro-cs didn't necessarily lead to their goals of having relationships with children/teens? What if minors still largely chose to hate pedos and keep adults away from them? I get the impression that from the point of view of youth rights advocates in MAP spaces there's some kind of symbiotic relationship between pedophiles and children but why would there be such thing? Most humans are attracted to people around their age not much older and not much younger and what exactly about youth rights leads to pedophiles not being seen as evil monsters? How would a child being able to vote, emancipate from their parents, etc somehow change the idea that there's very evil creepy adults out there preying on them? What if "protection from pedophiles" was part of their agenda? What if minors decided there still needs to be restrictions on relationships for general safety?
