I forgot I was an adult and then realized while checking out groceries the other day
@bitterblossom I talk to cashiers nervously because they're grownups, and then I realize we're the same fucking age and get my confidence back
@Jazzy_Butts for a very short period i was nervous around cashiers
but that was because i was self-aware and dressed like a punk in hoodie and shit, so i assumed they assumed i was a thief

it gets worse though because each time it happens you realize how far away the golden years of childhood are and how close becoming elderly looms ahead
