@Jazzy_Butts this segways into a question i'm urged to ask. when you try to imagine or visualise, say a happy place, do you actually see it or do you just feel yourself thinking of it? i'm closer to the former but the majority of people say something like the latter

@doorroo Hah I see that shit, I only found out other people don't very recently. My sister said she doesn't see things in her head, and when I heard that I suddenly understood that's how most people must be, because she's very normal, socially functional.

@Jazzy_Butts i already assumed you can see it too, it shocked me when i found out that isn't the default. read some studies showing the commonness of aphantasia (lack of inner eyes) in certain universities to be as high as 20 to 40%, seems unreal. inability to place an object in front of you or in your sight, in your mind, seems like that'd cripple your creativity or something
