the only arabian i knew irl is a chunky white boi anyway so he doesn't even look like em despite being born there. he once told me about how he had to pretend to not even know the language when he went back to visit family bc their military drafts guys literally right off the planes if they have any arab blood in them.

@bitterblossom @Jazzy_Butts i can see the appeal in having to work a bit harder to know you've made an impact. looking at whether they're wringing their hands, the movement of their eyes, if you make them blush hard enough it doesn't matter what they're wearing

a side nitpick is that a hijab would not hide their face at all, burkas and niqabs would. but, what you meant was clear

i am fond of the modern fleece balaclava though, those are cozy as fuck when the temp drops way below freezing and the wind picks up.

@bitterblossom @Jazzy_Butts generally, hijab covers the hair but not the face. only one you're like to see in the hwest. niqab covers the face but the eyes, burka covers the face and body full *and* has a mesh covering the eyes such that they're covered to the outside too

yeah, balaclavas own, though usually i just use a gaiter
