@AbNormal @Jazzy_Butts @coolboymew they should do that. most places would, merchandise is insured in the first place, unless it's a thrift shop or some shitty hole in the wall.
but i feel like that's an outlet shop, which are the WORST places, so manager probably marked it damaged/destroyed and then tried to make an extra sale off it anyway. or some not-a-manager who doesn't understand the ramifications marked it down and put it back on the rack like a retard.

i'm quite sure that would be illegal. it'd fall under some hazmat shit. blood (and any/all human bodily fluids) are hazmat. doesn't matter if the store cleaned it either, since nobody working a clothing store is going to have HAZWOPER certifications.
realistically it'd be fine if they bleached it and put it through a wash cycle. just not legal.
