best dystopian novel?

read: BEST. dystopian fiction is a great genre. but what’s number one?
@theblessing i find 1984 to be terribly uncreative, Fahrenheit 451 is probably the option of the four that resonated with me most. Lord of the Flies and The Time Machine are honourable mentions if that counts

@doorroo @theblessing I like F451 because it offers hope, it says, "Yes things are bad, they are fucked, but you can get across the river and escape still"

@Jazzy_Butts @theblessing
that's what i took from it; i think back to my friend who is 38, i'm 20, i've had my 'revelation' of how things are since 13 while he only figured out at 35 when he was working near Wall Street how he feels about the system. F451 shows even people embed in their wages and work can break out of the box
