Could God prevent something like a bee from stinging you? of course, he's God, with infinite power and knowledge of all things, preventing a bee sting would be trivial beyond our comprehension for him. and yet this must be why he doesn't, because something like a bee sting is so infinitely small to God to be either imperceptible or at least seem totally unimportant. how could any tragedy not seem imperceptibly small and unimportant to a being who has witnessed the births and deaths of entire planets, stars, galaxies even, who can only be overwhelmed by the horrors he has created, all the aeons of suffering echoing throughout the universe which must to him seem like an immense tomb. for a being of infinite wisdom and power it would be paralyzing to watch all of this unfold all at once like a trainwreck that he can't look away from. this is why God allows for the existence of evil

@nyx What about his feelings? God can snap himself out of whatever feeling he wants to, he's God, master of all, including himself. He doesn't have to be paralyzed, he chooses to be paralyzed. To allow us to suffer must be a virtue in his eyes, and this is why the bible can be used to justify massive evil.

@Jazzy_Butts I think this is kind of a "can God create a stone too heavy for himself to lift" type paradox, however he must have known that creating the universe would lead to immense suffering and yet chose to anyways, so you're still right actually
